I speak"I speak of the moon's graceful sweep, of flowers blooming at midnight's touch, I speak of longings and dreams remembered .I speak of life in glory and it's pain, and the soft sweet caress of a summer rain.I speak, and sometimes they listen, the morning breeze that blows through my kitchen.I speak..I speak, into the gloom, of a heavily shadowed, evening room... And sigh as silence follows"
I cant sleep, my mind is hazy...The worries of the day bog me down.
From sunrise to sunset I await the end..With no hope insight of a breath of air.
My mind is jumbled, within and without, my heart beats widely and I cant even shout out...
My mind is hazy and fear sets in..what if I fail all over again?
The day looms on, as the clock ticks by..Each moment that passes I want to cry,
As each second continues..my mind screams, my heart beats widely and I begin to fear all things.
Breath it leaves me gasping for more, my hands shake..wish I had a cure..
The fears of failing all those I adore, sit deep within and begins to stir...
My mind is hazy and I wish I could sleep..to pass the day in dreams buried deep...
As the night looms near and the sun falls low..
My mind wanders to new fears and I groan.
I cant get past this fear and doubt, when everything else seems not to work out..
I cant have hope when hope has fled, behind dreamy visions of ghosts now dead.
My mind is hazy....
SolaceShe never slept well in the dark,
not without the children of the sun and moon
to guide her weary lids home.
Guided by the aftermath, she was always two steps behind.
What did the world look like to the girl who had been through it all?
Braved the heaviest of storms,
yet skipping over cracks in the pavement.
They said her eyes were the wisps of clouds before the storm.
To him they were reflections of pages overlooked.
She said it was like she lived the life of someone she had never met.
Laid out to dry, yesterdays news.
He knew her as the girl who was built to never collapse.
He wished he was too.
He loved her more than words could say, and yet her pain was such,
that at times, he feared she wouldn’t make it.
But on nights like these, even when it threatened to consume her,
he became convinced that somehow she would.
